Chunky hand-thrown stoneware table jug by Washington Studio Pottery with a wide, tapering form, c1970s or 1980s.
Glossy two-tone glaze - dark brown tenmoku-style to the lower portion of the jug and grey-brown speckled to the top and interior.
Lovely as a decorative piece or vase or for practical use.
Slightly smudged impressed maker's mark to the base: WSP (for Washington Studio Pottery).
Approximately 15.5cm tall and 14cm from the handle to the belly of the jug.
Excellent vintage condition with light scratches.
