Delicate carved onyx dish in lemon-hued stone with dramatic swirling markings in rust, brown and cream with translucent sections. Highly polished stone with a small shaped base.
Ideal size to hold a few pieces of jewellery.
Approximately 4.5cm tall and 12.5cm diameter across the top of the dish.
Very good vintage condition with light scratches and some small nibbles and scuffs around the rim. Some natural splits in the stone (which look a little like cracks) as is common with carved onyx and present since the bowl was made.
All our pieces have a past and may feature age-related marks which we believe add to their charm. If you have any questions about this item or would like to see further photographs, please do get in touch.
