A wonderful pair of mid 20th century hand-carved wood candlesticks with tapering stems and circular bases.
Formed in beautiful honey-coloured wood with contrasting dark grain.
Both candlesticks retain their original metal socket inserts to protect the wood and have been fitted with cork bases.
Approximately 15.5cm tall, 10cm diameter across the base. The candle opening is 2cm in diameter.
Aged vintage condition with knocks, marks and scratches. Natural imperfections to the wood of one candlestick, as shown in the photographs.
