A set of four handmade vintage brandy glasses with delicate grey smoked glass cups and clear glass stems and bases.
Designed for aged brown liquors such as brandy, bourbon and whisky and known as snifter glasses. The glass is wider at the bottom and narrower at the top to concentrate the fragrance (nose) of the liquor.
MCM style glasses from Czechoslovakia, c1970s.
Approximately 12cm tall and 5cm in diameter across the top of each glass. Each glass holds a little under 250ml of liquid when filled to the rim.
Excellent vintage condition with some light scratches. One glass still has the original sticker which reads: Slovakia Hand Made Glassware, Czechoslovakia.
