Vintage studio pottery jam jar.
Handmade lidded jam jar by Scarfskerry Pottery with a rich chestnut-brown glaze and word 'JAM' in raised lettering to the front of the jar.
Scarfskerry Pottery was created in 1977 by David and Sally Body in Caithness in the Scottish Highlands. The pottery ran until 1987 when it was moved to John O'Groats and renamed.
Approximately 11cm tall to the top of the lid, 10cm in diameter at its widest.
Excellent vintage condition.
A matching Marmalade jar (with a slightly different lid) is also available.
All our pieces have a past and may feature age-related marks which we believe add to their charm. If you have any questions about this item or would like to see further photographs, please do get in touch.
