Handmade stoneware pitcher by Prinknash Abbey Pottery with a light brown and caramel-coloured glaze.
Lovely visible rings from the potter's wheel and a pinched spout. Rough texture to one side of the jug adds rustic character.
Prinknash Pottery was established by Benedictine monks at Prinknash Abbey near Cranham, Gloucestershire and was in operation from 1942-1997.
Stamped to the base: Prinknash Hand Made England.
Approximately 16cm in length from the edge of the handle to the belly of the jug, 12.5cm wide and 16cm in height.
Excellent vintage condition with light scratches.
