Open Twist Candlestick

Wooden twist stem candlestick.

Fabulously chunky turned wood candle holder with an open barley twist design and circular domed base. A metal insert to the candle socket protects the wood.

This is a beautiful piece, ideal for a mantlepiece or as part of a dining table centrepiece.

Likely dates to the early 20th century.

Approximately 26cm tall and with a 14cm diameter base. There's a 2cm diameter taper candle opening.

Lovely aged vintage condition with some knocks and scuffs.
