Incredible pair of heavy onyx bookends in the stye of knight chess pieces.
The onyx has dramatic veins in shades of orange, terracotta and red against creamy grey and gold. Lacquered to protect the stone and add a satin shine, c1970s.
A great gift for any lover of books and vintage.
