Gorgeous large jewellery or powder box in lemon-hued alabaster with swirling pale markings adding depth to the stone. Gold-coloured metal edging to the hinged opening.
The polished stone has been finished with a varnish/lacquer creating a glossy shine.
Created in Italy and dating to the c1970s.
Approximately 6cm tall and 11cm in diameter.
Excellent vintage condition with a lovely clean interior. Light scratches and very tiny nibbles.
