Characterfully weathered jug with a wide arching handle by Hillstonia Pottery, c1940s.
Formed in warm beige stoneware with light speckles and texture, the jug has a natural rustic appearance with an unglazed exterior and glazed interior.
Hillstonia is a brand of the Moira Pottery Company, founded in 1922 in Leicestershire.
Approximately 13.5cm tall and 16cm wide to the edge of the handle.
Very good condition with a bright and clean interior. Rustic and aged appearance with time-worn patina.
