Vintage hand-carved cigarette or jewellery box in olive green stone with rust and creamy coloured markings.
Made in Italy by G.S.E Ottone Garantito, c1960s.
The stone has been polished and finished with a varnish that gives the box a subtle shine. The lid is connected with a gold-coloured metal edge and hinge.
Approximately 15cm wide, 10cm deep and 4cm tall.
Very good vintage condition with some scratches and a tiny nibble to one corner of the lid (underneath and not visible). The hinge works smoothly and is secure, some rusting and age marks to the metalwork.
