Hand carved in beautiful green onyx with brown, orange and creamy coloured veins.
The stone has been polished and finished with a varnish that gives the box a subtle shine. A gold coloured metal edging and hinge is fixed to the top of the box and lid.
Slight signs of age add to its natural aesthetic.

Lovely aged condition with some very small nibbles, marks and scratches gathered over the years. The hinge works smoothly and is secure, some rusting and age marks to the metalwork.
