Pair of studio pottery egg cups by The Friars Aylesford with a speckled brown and grey-coloured glaze.
Handmade in beige stoneware, c1960s or 1970s.
David Leach was briefly employed to set up The Friars pottery in Aylesford in 1955 with the studio managed by Colin Pearson until the early 1960s.
Impressed stamp to both bases.
Approximately 5.5cm tall and 5cm in diameter across the top.
Good vintage condition with some small chips to the bases.
