A large scalloped design dish by Elkington & Co with silver plate. A reproduction of a much earlier design by the same company with this piece dating to the mid century.
Lovely to use as a fruit bowl.
Made by Elkington & Co silversmiths of Birmingham, established 1836.
Stamped to the reverse: Elkington Silver Plate England. With the patent number 38385.
Approximately 4.5cm tall and 26.5cm in diameter.
Very good aged vintage condition with scratches, various tarnish marks and erosion spots to the silver plate (as shown in the photographs).
