Beautiful large redware plate from the Netherlands with deep sides finished with a wavy, serrated edge.
Hand decorated in black and white slip with a design of a man and woman in traditional dress surrounded by a border of windmills and tulips. Finished with a clear glossy glaze.
Unsigned.
Approximately 30cm in diameter.
Excellent vintage condition with small scuffs and nibbles to the edge. Paint marks and smudges date to the time the plate was made.
