Carved stone tortoise or turtle ornament in ochre coloured onyx with layered burgundy, grey and brown veins. Tiny carved eyes add character.

Approximately 2cm tall, 7cm long and 6cm deep.
Very good vintage condition with light scratches, very tiny nibbles and a small chip to the base, possibly dating to the time of manufacture.
