Ribbed striker with cavity to hold matches and base / dish for spent matches.
Shown with extra long matches (though not really suitable as the cavity is quite shallow). Strike anywhere matches would be needed as the striking surface is not suitable for lighting modern safety matches.
Approximately 8cm tall and 12.5cm in diameter across the tray.
Very good vintage condition with light surface marks and hints of patina.
All our pieces have a past and may feature age-related marks which we believe add to their charm. If you have any questions about this item or would like to see further photographs, please do get in touch.
