Alsace Kouglof Baking Mould

Vintage French baking mould.

Ceramic baking mould for a Kougelhopf/Kouglof cake - a traditional ring pan bread cake from the Alsace region of France made with raisins and almonds and hardened with yeast.

This pretty and gently rustic mould is in dark blue with a hand painted four-points design in white. It's ideal for wall display and has a hanging hole.

From the Soufflenheim village, Alsace region, France.

Approximately 9cm tall and 16cm in diameter across the base

Rustic vintage condition with some scuffs and scratches. There's a chip to the glaze which has been concealed with paint, shown in the photographs.
