Vintage terracotta pitcher from Alcobaca in Portugal.
Hand formed jug in beautiful terracotta clay with a hand-painted design of delicate white swirls, wiggles and dots around linear black bands.
Thickly applied and textured white paint and finished with a clear glossy glaze.
Painted 'Portugal' mark to the base.
Approximately 19.5cm tall and 17cm wide from the belly of the jug to the handle.
Very good vintage condition with scratches, marks and little misses to the glaze and paint. For use as a vase / decorative, not recommended for serving drinks.
