Matching pair of carved wood candle holders from Africa with a tall and slender sculptural form and ribbed central motif, c1960s.
Hand-carved African hardwood dating to the mid century.
Approximately 25cm tall and 3.5cm diameter across the base. The candle opening is 2.3cm in diameter.
Aged vintage condition with some knocks, scratches and imperfections. Natural split to the wood of one base dates to the time of manufacture.
