Antique Willow candlestick by Royal Doulton.
Victorian blue and white ceramic candlestick from the late 1800s featuring a Willow pattern design with blue borders to the top and bottom.
The Chinese inspired imagery includes a building surrounded by trees with birds flying overhead and three fishermen standing on a bridge.
Quite a rare find. Created at the Burslem factory in Stoke on Trent, c1890s.
Stamped to the base with the crown mark and words: Doulton Burslem, Willow, England
Approximately 17cm tall and 7.7cm in width across the base.
Very good antique condition. There's a historic crack to the candle socket interior, top and to the upper side (pictured) and some crazing. A little discolouration but no chips.
All our pieces have a past and may feature age-related marks which we believe add to their charm. If you have any questions about this item or would like to see further photographs, please do get in touch.
