Mother of Pearl & Brass Jars

Mother of pearl and brass jars.

A pair of contrasting vintage brass boxes with a mother of pearl inlaid design in pearlescent white and tortoiseshell brown.

They were likely designed as cigarette boxes and make lovely trinket pots. Quite rare to find the darker design.

Dating to the c1970s.

Approximately 9.5cm tall to the top of the lid and 6.5cm in diameter.

Lovely aged vintage condition with knocks, marks and patina to the brass.
