Vintage Hungarian wall plate with a hand painted design in thickly applied blue, ochre and brown paints. Similar in style to Troyan pottery of Bulgaria, the design has been created using a potter's wheel with paint applied as the wheel turns.
Made by MIS Vbnj-Banja of Hungary and stamped to the base.
Ready to hang with a mounting hole to the reverse. A similar plate in green is also available.
Approximately 20cm in diameter.
Very good vintage condition with some crazing an tiny nibbles to the edge.
