Vintage hand-carved onyx box with a fitted lid in creamy-coloured stone with white, brown and orange markings. Slightly rustic appearance.
Originally a cigarette box and lovely to store jewellery or keepsakes.
The box was likely made in Italy in the 1960s or 1970s.
Approximately 4.5cm tall, 14cm wide and and 9cm deep.
Aged vintage condition with marks and scratches alongside some very small nibbles to the edges and corners gathered over the years. Marks to the interior and a repair to the stone in brown from the time of manufacture (see photographs).
