Italian hand-carved and polished stone fruit bananas dating to the mid century.
The bananas have been dyed in yellow with very subtle hints of green to the ends and varnished. The natural veining of the stone remains visible and adds character.
Ideal as a paperweight or combine with the other fruit pieces available in separate listings, including: an apple, an orange, a peach and a pear.
Approximately 15cm in length.
The bananas are in excellent vintage condition with some very tiny nibbles to the edges.
