Beautiful large majolica cabbage ware soup tureen with matching underplate and ladle all featuring a glossy white glaze, c1970s.
Such a wonderful set to display on a kitchen dresser as well as making an incredible table centrepiece when serving soup (cabbage or otherwise!).
Unmarked piece but likely to be Portuguese and similar in design to pieces by Bordallo Pinheiro and Secla.
Approximately 22cm tall overall with the tureen stood on the plate. The tureen is 26.5cm at its widest. The underplate is 27cm diameter and the ladle is 25cm in length.
Excellent vintage condition with light scratches and marks and very tiny nibbles. Bright and clean interior.
