Pair of short antique brass candle holders with square stepped bases, tapered stems and flared candle sockets.
Possibly Georgian or early Victorian with fixed candle ejectors to the centres.
Recently polished but retaining numerous signs of age.
Approximately 15.5cm tall and 8cm in width across the base. The candle opening is around 2cm in diameter.
Aged antique condition with marks, knocks and scratches. Very slight colour difference to the brass and with warping to the flared tops. The underside base and candle ejector of one candlestick has been glued.
