Antique Blacking Bottle

Victorian stoneware blacking bottle.

A glossy brown salt-glazed bottle which once stored ink or blacking paste - used in the Victorian era to polish shoes and boots.

These bottles make lovely rustic vases and look great with seasonal foliage.

Approximately 19.5cm tall and 7.5cm in diameter across the base.

Very good antique condition with various marks, manufacturing imperfections and some small chips as shown.
