CHRISTMAS DELIVERIES ~ Our last dates for Christmas orders are Tuesday 17th December with 2nd Class post and Thursday 19th December with 1st Class Post.
A pair of faience plates from France with a glossy white opaque tin glaze. This traditional glaze is applied as a background for a brightly hand painted design - here, a basket filled with flowers.
Dating to the c1920s these plates have rustic charm and would look wonderful displayed amongst a collection of wall plates.
Approximately 23cm in diameter.
Aged and rustic antique condition with scratches, little nibbles and scuffs. One plate appears to have been fired for longer and is slightly darker in colouring.
