A beautiful pair of short candle holders in dark ebony wood with stepped bases delicate narrow stems. Likely date to the Edwardian era.
Shaped metal inserts to hold the candles and protect the wood.
Smudged etched description to one base with the word 'ebony' and possibly 'made in England'.
Approximately 6.5cm tall and 6cm diameter across the base. The candle opening inside the metal insert is around 1.8cm in diameter.
Good antique condition with light marks and imperfections to the wood. Both candlesticks have hairline cracks to the bases.
