Aged and rustic German Westerwald stoneware bottle with a rounded shape, narrow neck and simple handle. Lovely as a vase for a few cut or dried flowers.
Blue-grey colouring with a vivid cobalt hand painted floral design and rings to the bottle neck. The under glaze colour is roughly applied, leaving patchy hints of beige clay exposed beneath a clear satin glaze.
Approximately 20cm tall and 13cm wide from handle to the belly of the jug.
Rustic vintage condition with various marks and imperfections.
