Beautiful and vibrant wall plate from Spain with a hand painted design of fish in thickly applied green and orange paint. The design includes a swirling sun-like motif to the centre of the plate.
Large piece with raised sides which makes a lovely addition to a plate wall gallery or could be used as a shallow serving bowl.
Unmarked but is known to be Spanish in origin.
Approximately 30cm in diameter.
Very good vintage condition with crazing and tiny nibbles to the edge. Air bubbles within the glaze date to the time of manufacture (example shown in the photographs).
