Small turquoise ceramic conch shell vase with spiral detailing and a tall 'spire' that's so distinctive of the conch shell.
Designed by Shorter & Son of Stoke on Trent, c1950.
The shell makes a lovely decorative piece but it could be used as a vase or as a planter for a small succulent or air plant.
Marked to the base: Shorter & Son, Stoke on Trent, Made in Great Britain.
Approximately 10cm tall, 15cm long and 10cmwide.
Very good vintage condition with some light scratches and crazing to the glaze.
