Such lovely proportions to this classic mantle vase with it's long, narrow form and low pedestal base.
With similarities to designs by Wedgwood, this piece is from Peak Potteries and has a creamy white satin glaze.
Impressed to the base with the words: Peak M/S, Made in England
Approximately 11.5cm tall, 25.5cm wide and 8.5cm deep.
Very good vintage condition with spots of discolouration, crazing to the glaze and a small scuff to the rim (shown in the photographs). Slightly mottled area to the glaze on one side of the vase which is not noticeable and believed to be a manufacturing imperfection. If using with fresh flowers, we recommend placing a container inside the vase to hold water and prevent discolouration to the vase.
